Clarion Forest VNA to Hold Grief Recovery Group
Recovery from the loss of a loved one is a painful journey, but it does not have to be done alone. The support of others who are on the same journey can strengthen one’s hope for the future and help to bring healing. Clarion Forest Visiting Nurses Association hospice program will offer a grief recovery group for adults, beginning September 22 and running through the holidays. The group will meet every other Thursday from 10 to 11:30 AM in the conference room at the office at 271 Perkins Road, Clarion, PA. Prior utilization of services with Clarion Forest VNA hospice program is not required in order to participate in the group. Please call 814-297-8360 to register for the group.
Reorganizing one’s life after the trauma of a loss is the primary focus of the group. Topics will address understanding what loss does to a person, healthy grieving, embracing a new normal, and making meaningful connections.
Masks and screening for COVID are required. There is no charge to attend the group.
