Why Bereavement?
The loss of a family member or friend can place terrible stress upon the survivor. As we work our way through the tangle of feelings that arise, we cope with our losses in many different ways. The road to healing and feeling whole again is a learning journey. To help with this journey, Clarion Forest VNA Hospice offers a variety of support services.
What Services Are Available?
Individual Sessions – a counselor can meet with adults, children, teens, or families impacted by the death of a loved one. This service is only provided for families served by our hospice.
Several other grief groups and workshops are offered throughout the year. We also offer special workshops for school-age grieving children.
Who Is Eligible?
Many Hospice Bereavement Services are available to the community as well as families served by our Hospice program.
Are There Any Fees?
Most programs are provided at no cost or a nominal fee to the participants.
